heart failure

Like James Doohan his ashes were shot into space. Unlike James Doohan they did not return to Earth having burned up in our atmosphere.

Gene Roddenberry was a visionary. Many items of technology seen in Star Trek are now household items today. The cell phone, for instance,  can trace its roots back to the original communicator in Star Trek.

He was affectionally known as the
Great Bird of the Galaxy

May he always soar through the heavens
and
May he be remembered
forever
